First possibility: Ciccio is a name so you don't have to translate it ("Michelangelo Crispi, pluricampione del mondo, compagno di barca di **Ciccio** Esposito Leonardo Pettinati e tanti altri Campioni, ha superato il corso ....) Second possibility: Here in Italy we use "ciccio" e "ciccia" if we meet friends and we like to use a "slang". In reality it means "fat", but not only fat people are called in this way, it's getting a new mode (just look the Panariello-show on saturday evening in TV, there's someone always saying "ciccia"). As a german translation for a boatsname may be "Dickerchen" (is it big boat?)
