Explanation:
In base alla legge del 1926 erano riconosciuti come stazioni di cura, di soggiorno e di turismo quei comuni "ai quali conferisce importanza essenziale nell'economia locale il concorso di forestieri in tutte o in alcune stagioni dell'anno a scopo di cura, di soggiorno o di svago" (art. 1, comma 3): segno evidente del livello di sviluppo che già a quel tempo il turismo balneare aveva raggiunto a Cesenatico. La stessa legge prevedeva che in ogni comune così riconosciuto fosse istituita un’Azienda autonoma per l'amministrazione della stazione stessa.
