Italian term or phrase: Mira quasi presaga a noi l'invia dal Cielo
... oh quanto è vaga!
(from 18th century text)
TransHispania
Italian translation:s. after
Explanation:
mira = v. mirare, 3rd sing. = looks at

presaga = said of a person who can look into the future;
thus: mira quasi presaga a noi = she looks at us, as if she could see our future/destiny - as if she could see very well till very deep into us

l'invia dal Cielo = l'inviata dal Cielo = the person sent by Heaven/God = a usual metaphor for the Virgin Mary
