Italian to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Architecture / term
Italian term or phrase: cordolo
I am very sorry to bother you all if this is has already been discussed, but I really can't find a satisfying translation in the glossary, translations already discussed refer to paving details, curbes, and this is not my case.

The word "cordolo" has many meanings in Italian, I am looking for the meaning described in Italian dictionaries as: "bordatura perimetrale in calcestruzzo usata per rinforzare i solai", i.e. "concrete border used to brace a floor".
In this case the "cordolo" is part of a restructuring intervention and regards the roofings: "dotati di solette e cordoli perimetrali in calcetruzzo armato".

Thanks for your help
