Il repo si configura come un’operazione di impiego di fondi o di finanziamento, e per questo motivo è uno degli strumenti più usati dalle Banche centrali per le necessità di regolazione a breve termine della quantità e del costo della liquidità disponibile nel sistema.
Lo dice il glossario del Credito Italiano. In gergo li chiamano anche "repo", ma eviterei su un bilancio.
