This is from an ERP on line help system, and these are the titles of two of the modules. The client's glossary gives: sales and distribution, and purchasing. Are these terms preferable to sales cycle and purchase cycle? All opinions welcome, and any url's for reference especially welcome! Thank you, Sarah

I have to disagree. "cycles" in this context doesn't sound English, while sales and distribution seems to me to have the qualities Alessia ascribes to the former.
