Italian term or phrase: bancarizzazione
HI folks
I need to translate this term. I have found the following definition, but somehow I don't think bankisation/bankization (although there are a coupl'a hits) are going to fit the bill!
Operazione attraverso la quale il borsellino elettronico, prima inattivo, viene attivato da una banca che diventa responsabile della moneta elettronica in esso presente. Di fatto tale banca assume il ruolo di issuer bancario

Ooops, I'm a bit unsure of the correct procedure here...
Thank you all for your hard work on this difficult one. Your suggestions are certainly good for the definition I have given. Unfortunately, this is not applicable to my context, as I now realise thanks to Paolo (PML). Sorry. I found a reliable-looking Internet glossary and swallowed it hook, line and sinker. In the e-commerce sector the definition is probably correct, but "bancarizzazione" has revealed itself to be a bit of a wildcard.
Cheers
Derek

"external banking agent interaction"

Explanation:
Hi there! I plugged "bancarizzazione" into my Microsoft browser and got a link (please see below) with a hyperlink in the left column that points to an "indice" of such things. Maybe that will help some. In reading your Italian text, I proposed the above English translation, considering that it best summarized the role that the third-party and "invisible" bank has in this process. Good luck! Gary :-)

Explanation:
Dear D.
I can only think of this term.
Or bankability! It means something different but you could say that the borsellino elettronico becomes bankable!

I tried--a nice break from the ur-creativity of marketing 8-)

Bancarisation

Explanation:
Not a word in common use in the English language. Only a couple of sites mention it. Seems to be taken from the French. In English it is used in the context of a fee/rate charged by a bank to "enterprises with bank credit",i.e., a charge for carrying out the actual transaction.
