Italian to English translations [PRO] Art/Literary - Cinema, Film, TV, Drama / other
Italian term or phrase:come le formiche
This is the title of a film about a young girl who studies ants and compares them to people, in terms of behaviour. A sweet film, what would be an appropriate and poetic translation of the title ?
Explanation: ... as you said, it's pure imagination and I thought of HumAnts from humans and ants. Of course, seeing this title would not necessarily lead you to the parallel between ants and people, but it may be an eye-catching phrase.
Then, if you prefer clear, distinct words you can choose An Ants World, or A-Like (with A for ants), or any other instance you feel would be appropriate from the movie. Good luck.
BTW, can we see the film? I'd like to.
Out of 1,600 titles, asking help for just one doesn't seem to be asking someone to do my job! My own ideas were: Like ants, just like ants, etc. I always strive to find the most appropriate term and I appreciate all the different suggestions. Thanks to all those who help by providing alternative solutions!
It is set in Tuscany in a large estate which is going bankrupt. The family are trying various ventures to raise money.

There is a little girl who goes round filming ants and keeping a video diary of her studies of their behavioural traits, as she compares them to people. She is a secondary character but the title is based on her annotations.
