agree  Catherine Bolton: Yes. I have the Hoepli "Dizionario dei Termini Cinematografici" (Italian-English), which says "primissimo piano, abbreviato PPP". FWIW, it uses "very close up" for the English, but I'd go with Katia's extreme close-up.
