Explanation:
I try: it could mean that the engineer is required to set a working plan for the plant or machines, or that is required to issue a report about the machines working, to issue a working scheme. According to my experience, I'd say that schema di marcia is a plan the engineer has to set, to plan according to the production requests. Usually all the industrial plants and machines have computer systems that automatically monitor their working and issue the reports.
