Tech/Engineering - Construction / Civil Engineering
Italian term or phrase: rasatura/rasante
Product description : è una collante/rasante pronto a base di calce idraulica naturale, inerti selezionati con granulometria massima di 2 mm ed additivi.
Il prodotto è indicato per l’utilizzo come malta di allettamento a basso spessore per murature in blocchi calcio – silicei o equivalenti e come rasatura superficiale delle stesse.

I know that "rasare" typically means to smooth out a surface to prepare it for finishing, hence a smoothing product, but this appears here to be more of a "filler" product, and the German translation on the bag "Spachtelmasse" means filler, besides the "collante", which is "adhesive". But then the bag also has a (very possibly erroneous) English translation talking about the product being for the "shaving" of the blocks.... Thanks in advance!
