"virtualmente" has become very trendy in Italy, since the internet landed in our country.
Another meaning could be "for his characteristics/quality/VIRTUES, can be defined, considered as..." (un uovo è virtualmente una gallina, in this case, if considered in perspective)

Asker: oh yeah, right. when you look at it that way. i thought the CS was being used to "definire virtualmente" a rolungamento sbarre", and that REALLY had me confused. htey could have said "Lo si può definire". right.
