Italian to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Finance (general) / CABLE
Italian term or phrase:V/P A MEZZO
This is in the text of a cable. Here is the only context I have:
V/P A MEZZO 05696/11091 O/C INCAPACITY BENEFI ...
Thanks again for your reply. The cable is a listing of transactions on a current account, and it does not say what kind. No subject and really nothing to go on. It is part of a bunch of bank statements, but they really contain no clue about the problem phrase. I think your deposit/payment is a very good guess--will flag the phrase and suggest this as a possible translation for that bit.
Can't you let us be the judge of whether the subject of the cable (or other seemingly irrelevant context) is of help? It's next to impossible to guess the acronym without having any idea at all why this line appears in the cable.

Explanation: Well, some "meta-context" might help, too. Like what's the cable about exactly?
And what appears before and after this line?
Anyway, the numbers that follow "a mezzo" look like ABI/CAB numbers, so "V" could be "versamento" and "P" could be "pagamento", but these are purely guesses.
