"automatic teller" Explanation: Hi, I can just tell you that on Eurodicautum, I got two hits with your word that seemed to lend the significance, "automatic teller machine" or "ATM card," etc. The link is below. Good luck! Gary :-) Reference: http://eurodic.ip.lu:8086//cgi-bin/edicbin/expert.pl IT-EN Translator |

Automated banking Explanation: Bancomat is a composite term that refers to automated banking and can be used in reference to the concept and practice of automatic banking, to the machines used for that purpose, or even for the cards. The choice of an English title for the document in question will have to be determined in light of the content of the document and what it discusses: the concept and practice, the machines, or the cards. Very often in my work, I leave the title to the end. By the time I finish the whole document, the title practically writes itself. Fuad |

Automatic Teller Machine (Bancomat) Explanation: a system crash disrupted all 3600 automatic teller machines (Bancomat) http://www.kpmg.ch/Be/Archive/newse06.97.html MiniCASH is fast because it interacts only with the chip on the card, whereas the Bancomat system has to communicate with, and seek authorisation from, a central computer; http://www.cetrel.lu/rp/rp99_09.htm Therefore Bancomat is not a machine but a payment System, like Xerox is not a photocopy device but a firm. Possible translation in the title can be as follows: Automatic Teller Machine (Bancomat) or Bancomat (Automatic Teller Machine) Hope it can help you.
