Italian to English translations [PRO] Furniture / Household Appliances
Italian term or phrase:living
"Il mobile contenitore è una presenza discreta e funzionale nel living. Volumetria essenziale per il mobile basso. Un parallelepipedo sviluppato in orizzontale che integra un’ampia struttura da appoggio in rovere naturale e un comodo cassetto laterale".
don't worry. i thought the same thing. i put in living room and added a note explaining that i didn't consider the english usage appropriate and that either more explanation or italian terminology was required.
Pauley, I hesitate to post this answer as you had so many agrees, but I think that living may also refer to lifestyle as in 'il living'. Il mobile contenitore, though usually part of a living-room, can be also places in other rooms of the house.
