Furniture / Household Appliances / Antiques
Italian term or phrase: pattona
In an inventory of antique art and furniture in a stately home, I've come across the description:
- Sei sedie in legno di noce, schienale traforato con pattona centrale ad intreccio
Googling "pattona" it would seem to be a particular style of chair, but I'm not sure what "pattona" as a constituent element actually is, or how to translate it. Any ideas?
