Italian to English translations [PRO]
Science - Geology / soil erosion
Italian term or phrase: tratti poco impegnativi di corsi d'acqua
in a document about geomats, one section talks about the use of these products to line 'tratti poco impegnativi di corsi d'acqua'.
So far I have thought of 'temporary' or 'ephemeral' streams. I am having problems with 'poco impegantivi' and also 'tratti' in this context.
Thanks in advance!

English translation:sections of water courses where particularly high performance is not required
Explanation:
particularly strong adhesion
particularly high permeability/impermeability.
The sense is this but without knowing what the geomats are supposed to do. Probably prevent landslide, banks from caving in, I can't think of a shorter way of putting
"For sections of water courses that aren't difficult to do" if it was conversational.

agree  Marie Scarano: good solution. Sometimes I also use "stretch" for "tratto"
