Italian to English translations [PRO] Social Sciences - Human Resources
Italian term or phrase:Prof.c.
Can anyone help me with this abbreviation found in a contract where the person in charge is referred to repeatedly as prof.c. xxxxxx . I thought at first it was a mistake, but the repetition would tend to exclude error. Thanks for your help.
I've "googled" him and he appears not to have a "C". Having consulted you all, I think at this point I'll have translate him as a simple professor, leaving a note for the client. Thanks anyway and have a good day.
secondo me la cosa più probabile è questa, anche se è ripetuto... magari è stata qualche correzione automatica sbagliata... possibile che questo prof (the real name, obviously) non sia rintracciabile su internet, per vedere come si chiama?
It doesn't appear to be an initial as the "c" is always small and without a space between it and Prof. Here's a couple of examples: "Il Prof.c. M. Bianchi assume la funzione di responsabile delle analisi" or again, "Il Prof.c. M. Bianchi è responsabile legale di Azienda Srl" (not a real name obviously). Perhaps an error and it should be Prof. C.M. Bianchi, but it's strange that it's repeated in this way.
