L'agente si obbliga:
a provvedere in generale alla tutela urgente degli interessi della preponente ed in particolare alla tutela della garanzia del credito che la preponente potrà avere verso i clienti; a comunicare tempestivamente ogni irregolarità, contestazione o mancato pagamento da parte dei clienti;


I suppose it means something like to protect/safeguard the interests of the principal but I am not sure about the urgente part.

agree  Brannigan: I imagine one could use 'immediate' as an alternative to urgent as well.

  -> I see immediate as meaning just very soon, while urgent implies necessity too.
