Is this simply "strict liability"?

"In nessun caso la responsabilità totale di XXX per tutte le cause ed azioni di qualsivoglia tipo relative al presente contratto, compresi illeciti, appalti, negligenza e **responsabilità stretta**, supererà il prezzo totale pagato da XXX dall'Acquirente."

Bonus question: shouldn't the last line read "totale pagato *a* XXX dall'Acquirente."?
