Italian to English translations [PRO] Law/Patents - Law (general)
Italian term or phrase:I.M.
Context is an old (pre-WWI) birth certificate issued by the authority of Fiume, of the form 'Birth Certificate pursuant to articles xx, yy, of the I.M.'
Presumably the equivalent of Italian c.c. - Civil Code, but what is the precise expression?
The asker has declined this answer Comment: thanks for your effort, but I think that it's clear from the context that this doesn't work since it's a piece of legislation, not a ministry, whcih in any case would be M.I. Thanks anyway.
