Bus/Financial - Law (general) / Nuovo Codice
Italian term or phrase: criterio applicativo, Nuovo Codice opinions
Source:

Nel corso della stessa riunione, dando seguito ad un’espressa raccomandazione del Nuovo Codice (**criterio applicativo 1.C.3.**), che richiede al Consiglio di esprimere il proprio orientamento in merito al limite ...

These used to be the just plain "articoli", but for some reason the powers that be have decided to call them "criteri applicativi".

I've seen "applicative criteria" but I'm not convinced. I could probably get away with calling just "criterion n." or "application n.", but I'm wondering if anyone else has come across the "New Code" yet and what they make of it.

P.S. What are we calling the "Nuovo Codice" these days? The "new Code"? or should I put in full "the new Code of Corporate Conduct" every single time it's mentioned? Seems a bit wordy. I saw the Assonime and Borsa's websites, but I'm not 100% convinced and would like to hear the opinions of some Proz members.

TIA!

English translation:application criteria, new Code
Explanation:
application criteria (not applicative)

the new Code of Corporate Conduct ...thereafter the new Code...but capital C only for Code not for New

In this context: Application Criteria means the criteria for applying/the application of the Code.

Here is an excerpt from British Gas accounts which talks about the application of accounting criteria. And, someone correct me, this includes IF a method is applied and HOW it is applied.

"...at least on each reporting date, to establish whether the assumptions and application criteria for hedge accounting going forward continue to be supported...."
