Italian term or phrase: si pretende di far derivare a livello
My mind's gone to mush. Can anybody give me hand with this?
"Tale tesi e le conseguenze che da parte Vostra *si pretende di far derivare a livello* risarcitorio non trovano riscontro nella realta dei fatti.

It's strange because derivare is usually followed by the preposition "da".
But in the sense of "divert" (like a liquid) or "drift" (like a boat) you need to use "a" of course.
