equity share capital Explanation: The capitale "fondamentale" is the initial amount of share capital registered and indicated in the company's articles of association before any capital increases have been made, or at any rate, before the capital increase, if any, contemplated in the agreement has been made. It may be equal to or in excess of the legally required minimum capital to set up the company.
