English translation:start of interest charges
Explanation:
"Interest charges on the loan will start to accrue on [or "become effective as of"] July 10, 2001..."

Although "godimento" by itself means "enjoyment" or "use" (as of real property, etc.), in the context of loans it refers to interest entitlement.

Cheers,
HC

Thanks also to Angela who was right about the confusion this word generated. In the end I needed something short so I went with "Effective date" in the sense of the date from which interest entitlements commence.

"The loan will reach maturity on July 10, 2001."

Explanation:
Also, according to my Mondadori Italian-English dictionary, "godimento" can be rendered as "fruition," which leads me to think of this phrase indicating how this loan shall reach its full, maximum payout value as of the abovementioned date. :) Gary a Boston.

My apologies, all...I had meant for my previous post to also include the following, alternate phrasing: "The loan shall have a maturity date (as) of July 10, 2001." :) Gary Presto

Explanation:
I believe the date of "godimento" is when the accrued interest becomes payable. Ciao, Pat

10 hrs
interest on the loan will be due from July 10, 2001

Explanation:
There appears to be some confusion about what will acutally be "enjoyed" and I'm not surprised - the Italian is very spare (unusual for Italian wouldn't you say?!?)
My dictionary says:
"godimento degli interessi" - "start of interest entitlement"
and I would say that applied to your context this is what is applicable.
