Sanitario è riferito alla sfera prettamente medica (il servizio sanitario nazionale si riferisce a ospedali, cliniche convenzionate, ecc), servizio assistenziale si riferisce ad un concetto più generale di 'assistenza',compreso, ad esempio, i servizi sociali, assistenza agli anziani e così via.
