greater sphenoid wing OR greater wing of the sphenoid bone (see SPHENOID BONE below)
Explanation:
Sphenoid bone (os sphenoidale): Unique and central bat-shaped bone of the skull located between the frontal, occipital and temporal bones.

Main part :
Body of the sphenoid bone (corpus sphenoidalis): Main central part of the sphenoid bone between the lateral winged processes.

Greater wing of the sphenoid bone (ala major sphenoidalis): Larger, lower and bilateral wing-shaped bony extension of the sphenoid bone. Five surfaces: the cerebral surface (facies cerebralis) facing the brain, the temporal surface (facies temporalis) directed laterally and outwards, the maxillary surface (facies maxillaris) facing the maxilla, the orbital surface (facies orbitalis) facing the orbit and the inferior surface directed downwards. Four margins: the zygomatic border (margo zygomaticus) articulating with the zygomatic bone, the frontal border (margo frontalis) articulating with the frontal bone, the parietal border (margo parietalis) articulating with the parietal bone and the squamous border (margo squamosus) articulating with the temporal bone. The infratemporal crest is a small bony ridge between the inferior and the temporal surfaces. The spine of sphenoid bone (spina ossis sphenoidalis) is the angular posterior process of the greater wing.

Lesser wing of the sphenoid bone (ala minor sphenoidalis): Smaller, upper and bilateral wing-shaped bony extension of the sphenoid bone.
