Italian to English translations [PRO]
Medical
Italian term or phrase: Juglans 4CH; MCH -Mercurius corrosivus 10CH-30CH;
The above are from a list of ingredients found in a homeopathic compound. Does anyone know what these substances and abbreviations (if in fact they are abbreviations) are in English?
Here is an exerpt from the text:
"Gocce 100ml cont.:
Apis mellifica 10CH-30CH-200CH -Lachesis 10CH -30CH -200CH, MCH - Lilium tigrinum 10CH-30CH-200CH- Lycopodium 10CH-30CH-200CH, MCH- Mercurius corrosivus 10CH-30CH-200CH a0,1 ml- Pulsatilia 10CH -30CH-200CH, MCH Crabro vespa 10CH-30CH-200CH aà 0,15ml Cimicifuga 10CH....etc...Juglans 4CH.....etc....
Thank you very much!
Andra

Explanation:
No translation required. As I recall from reading such boxes, homeopathic compounds and other medicines list their ingredients using the scientific names and chemical annotation. Those look like normal (English) ingredients to me.
If you are not familiar with chemical and pharmaceutical notation (this is your third post), I suggest you consult a pharmacist or get other expert help. The safety consequences of a mistake could be quite serious.
Good luck.

Thank you for your consideration. It is true that this was my third post, but my posts were not in the same subject area. I should have phrased my question differently. I wasn't looking for a translation, because I thought that I needed to translate this portion of the text, but rather I was hoping to understand the text in its entirety. I was hoping that there may have been a pharmacist/translator registered with ProZ. In any case, I appreciate your attempt to help me. I would like to thank Alessandro as well. Very best regards,
Andréa

Explanation:
I'm not sure an English translation exsists for all the ingredients.
Lot of the times in medical terminology latin names are not translated into other languages.
Latin is not my language.
My rough guess knowing the Italian language and being Latin so similar is :
Goccie 100ml cont(Drops 100 milliliters contents)
Mercurius Corrosivus (Mercurio Corrosivo-Corrosive Mercury)
Other than that I believe the other ingredients are simply names of plants and herbs.
I hope I could be of any help at all.
Alex
