Medical
Italian term or phrase: Tac encefalo mde
In a medical report: "Tac encefalo mde: Discreta distruzione delle pareti sellari con estexe calcificazioni. Discreto enhancement patologico endosellare che interessa marginalmente anche i sifoni carotidei..."

Any suggestions for "Tac encefalo mde"?

English translation:encephalic CT with contrast medium
Explanation:
A TAC is a CT scan (commonly known as a CAT scan):
"Che cosa è la TAC: TAC TC (Tomografia Assiale Computerizzata)" (from first site listed).
However, I think that "mde" is a typo and should be "mdc", which stands for "mezzo di contrasto" or "contrast medium".
As for the encephalic part:
"ECG, encephalic and abdominal CT, eco-color-Doppler of epiaortic
vessels failed to identify any pathological features" - see second website.
Hope this helps.
