The scaffold is what supports the medication. The interface is the contact surface between the scaffold and the wound.

I'm uncertain about the translation of "Interfaccia" because I've found on the internet that the word "scaffold" is used many times to talk about hyaff membranes. In particular, I found this paragraph (which is almost identical to the sentence I'm translating):
