Medical - Medical (general) / discharge report
Italian term or phrase: Distimico
from a discharge report

I gather the patient is upset. What about the wording?

Dysthymic (Disorder)
Explanation:
Very standard psychiatric diagnostic category. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dysthymia

I actually agree that "the patient is upset" is an excellent description of a normal reaction to a botched medical procedure. Psychiatrists have to justify their existence, however, and so they give this reaction a professional-sounding diagnostic label.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Yes, the patient is looking for damages, so I suppose they have to "beef-up" he deal.
