Italian to English translations [PRO]
Italian term or phrase:biscroma
The definition in my Vocabolario della Lingua Italiana says "figura della notazione musicale, pari all metà della semicroma o corrispondente a 1/32 dell semibreve (o intero)." So I know that it is a musical notation, but can't define any of the other terms in the italian definition in my Italian to English dictionaries or through any online instant translation sources.
Explanation: This is the term in the United States. All the standard note durations are expressed in fractions of a whole note, from half notes to sixty-fourth notes. "Demisemiquaver" is correct in British English.
