Italian to English translations [Non-PRO]
Italian term or phrase:rocambesca
The victory contained of Malivai Washington in semifinalist Todd Martin and such rocambesca that pits it is not a really good year for a "Colored" to return to win Wimbledon.
Explanation: The Italian word is rocambolesco which means bold or daring and also extraordinary in the sense of an extraordinary feat, which seems to me to apply in this case, although I agree that the English is approxiamtive to say the least.
