However, "popularity" implies favorable (and, often, durable) publicity; therefore, a neutral phrase might be better. Alternatively, how about: "to enjoy notoriety because of a dispute"? Cheers, HC |

public exposure Explanation: I would use "public exposure" for "vantaggi di notorieta'". Disputa: does your context explain what it is? If one garners public exposure from a "disputa", it's gotta be something pretty public, like a well publicized "legal battle". I am not suggesting you should "hypertranslate", but just keep an eye on this possibility. Disagreement sounds to me more like a personal "disputa". Saluti a tutti Paola L M |
