Italian term or phrase: elosciadeti
Here's the context "mentre quella palustre è costituita da fragmiteti, magnocariceti ed elosciadeti".
I've got it all except the last one.
It's not in dictionary I have and I don't get any hits in the web.

Helosciadia
Explanation:
...because the Italian "elosciadeti" is in the plural form.

The singular is "Helosciadium," and it's usually italicized, of course, because it's a genus name. There are several species, including Helosciadium nodiflorum, Helosciadium nodiflorum var. repens, and Helosciadium inundatum (see the first web site below).

For more general information, see the second web site, which includes the following extract from Darwin's "On the Origin of Species": "... it floated for 85 days, and the seeds afterwards germinated: the ripe seeds of Helosciadium..."

Hope this helps,
HC
