Italian term or phrase: terrazzamenti in curva
I terrazzamenti in curva creano un affascinante effetto ad anfiteatro.
The text is on wine-growing and therefore 'terrazzamenti' refers to vines planted in terraces, because it is a hilly area.
But I cannot put the two together
pietra
"curving terraces" or "sweeping terraces"
Explanation:
There is a fluidity to this sentence that the word "curving" seems to capture as opposed to the word "curved".
"Sweeping" also connotes a sense of fluidity as the eye moves across the terraced land, capturing the "fascinating effect of an amphitheatre."

Spero che questo aiuti. :-)

curved terraces

Explanation:
I know it's not quite the Italian, but if you read on to "effetto ad anfiteatro", that's what they mean - a curved amphitheatre effect.

curving terraces

Explanation:
mi sembra che curved, e veramente correggetemi se sbaglio, mi da l'idea di qualcosa che sia stato curvato da un'azione o meccanica o umana.
Pensavo a "winding road" e per questo suggerisco il participio presente.
