The amount... Explanation: The amount [or size] of the respective co-ownership shares is expressed in thousandths". That's not how it's done in my condomium, but the concept is that they don't calculate the owned percentage strictly in units but down to the thousandth decimal point. The co-owned parts would be things like the share of the stairwell, elevator (if present), attic/rooftop and the like. Thus, you would have a number like "3.001" or "three and 1/000". The "millesimale" bit can also be called "millesimal", but I've generally seen it used this way in reference to precious metals, sterling silver in particular. HTH |
