Le uve destinate all'appassimento (qui a sinistra, Verduzzo Friulano) vengono raccolte in cassettine, e disposte in un solo strato per evitare la rottura degli acini.

Mi pare che l;'Inglese non faccia distinzione tra acino (grape) e vite/ oppure uva.
Lo stesso termine ha una pluralita` di significati, ma come renderlo? forse single or individual grapes?
