Zanichelli gives: rooted cutting but elsewhere I found:rooted vine /variety of vines/vine varieties

Ho riletto il tuo testo e ho ragionato (cosa che faccio molto di rado per non prendere l'abitudine).
Se va messa a dimora (cioè piantata nella terra) vuol dire che ha le radici, per cui "rooted", siccome shoots non possono "root" (sono germogli), dunque deve essere un cutting.
