"tourist routes" Explanation: I think it refers to the type of roads for which the car would be ideal (i.e. winding roads and tourist routes). The "guidati" would mean many guided tours come along them e.g. coaches etc. |

peer agreement (net): +1one-ways Explanation: Penso che percorsi "guidati" si riferisca al fatto che in Europa tutte le strade (almeno quelle dei centri storici e dei paesini) sono molto strette...questo obbliga spesso l'amministrazione locale a consentire un solo senso di marcia (senso unico) e gli automobilisti si ritrovano a fare giri assurdi per stradine strettissime (in Italia) per arrivare a destinazione...e sono "guidati" proprio dalle frecce dei sensi unici e dei divieti di accesso. "Guidato" è tra virgolette proprio perché l'autore vuole usare un eufemismo, in realtà sarebbe corretto dire "percorsi obbligati". Non penso che ci siano riferimenti al turismo. Set route Explanation: Per quanto ne so Percorso Guidato significa solo: percorso che si svolge o si effettua secondo modalità e schemi preordinati; Quindi: Set Route. Anche se nel contesto che tu ci dai non capisco bene perchè abbiano usato questa frase. |

when in doubt . . . Explanation: This doesn't seem too technical, so why not take advantage and improve it in English with something like: "interesting challenges" or "roads that will put your driving skills to the test". The meaning doesn't really change and it will probably flow better. |

winding Explanation: Quando si provano le machhine su strada si effettuano diversi percorsi (cittadino, autostradale, e tortuoso). Il percorso guidato è un percorso che impegna nella guida come quello di una strada montuosa, di un lungo lago o lungo la costiera amalfitana (bella), dove si fa molto uso del cambio, dei freni, e dove vi sono frequenti variazioni di assetto che sollecitano la vettura.
