Italian term or phrase: midollino
It is used to cover some furniture - I have found English pages that used the word without translating it, and some that simply called it 'wood'. Anyone know of a more specific term?

Every time I've seen "midollino", it corresponds to what we call "wicker" at home.
According to Webster's:
