Italian term or phrase: Italian diploma question
If an Italian student is given a grade on their diploma of "quaranta sessantesimi", what would be an appropriate English equivalent? A 66? This is a rather low grade, or average.

English translation:do not turn 40/66 into another equivalent
Explanation:
this is my advice. I translate "pagelle" and "diplomi" and always leave the grade as expressed in the original. It is up to the appropriate education authorities to make the equivalence.

ciao
