catering / food services Explanation: Hi, I've seen "ristorazione" translated as catering (as a field), but "food services" is also used quite often. This may do the trick for you: food-service solutions because it still avoids the term "restaurant", which is a completely different concept. me |

lunch counter solutions Explanation: it's not a pun; at least in the US and Canada there are lunch counters where you would not expect lunch to be served (Sears for one, and other points of sale). Also it's food you have to eat with utensils, and many "bar" in Italy serve snack (finger food, sandwiches, "toast" etc.), but in an English context bar takes a different connotation. hope it helps. paola l m |
