A more serious/personal conversation...


Explanation:
This is one of those apparently simple questions that are,instead, quite hard in writing because what we are missing are all the non verbal clues. If you were already having a casual conversation, perhaps he wanted to get into more serious, personal topic... You are the only one who can say.

I would tend to see it as a request to talk about yourself and to have a more serious conversations.
