And follow virtue, and knowledge to be won."

This is by Dorothy Sayers, who is reputed to be one of the best (and one of my favorite mystery writers too).

  -> no, ma evidentemente come accademica e traduttrice la povera Sayers guadagnava bruscolini e si quindi dedicata ad un'attività più redditizia!
