I am translating a document about Quality Assurance. The whole sentence is:
La presente edizione viene emessa con codifica XXX, in edizione a, in quanto la versione precedente codificata XXX era inserita unicamente nel sistema documentale XXX.
I'm not sure how to translate this part as I don't really understand how it fits in to the sentence.
