Not sure if this refers to the speed of sailing, or the kind of wind, or something else - here is the phrase in context:

"..una imbarcazione estremamente veloce e capace di ottime prestazioni anche nelle *andature strette* , dove in modo particolare si esprimono al meglio le enormi potenzialità dello yacht di veleggiare con un notevole ed ottimale angolo di sbandamento e con una precisa e costante stabilità direzionale."

Explanation:
Per "stringere" il vento si intende andare con la prua sempre più in direzione del vento! L'andatura stretta è senza dubbio la bolina.
