In an industrial waste water treatment proposal: "Prove di UF, NF ed OI volte alla determinazione delle caratteristiche (conducibilità, COD, pH, cloruri e solfati) e alla determinazione dei volumi dei vari flussi prodotti (permeati e concentrati dei vari stadi."

Any suggestions for UF, NF, OI, COD, BOD5?.

I found these acronyms in chemical pages all over the Web... So my guess is at least some of these these are English acronyms (also because of the answers you already got), commonly used in other languages. I came up with:
UF = Ultrafiltration
NF = Nanofiltration
OI = Osmosi inversa (reverse osmosis)
For the other ones, I think Jocca already gave you the right answer.
