io userei isolated instead of insulated.
Su google trovo piu' di 3300 siti. Galvanicamente isolate significa trattate con un processo detto, credo, idrolisi (se non mi ricordo male), che serve per rivestire una superficie con una "lamina" di un metallo, un po' quello che fanno gli orafi per ottenere oggetti dorati piuttosto che d'oro. In questo caso credo che abbiano rivestito le parti costruite in materiale conduttore con un materiale isolante cosi' da eliminare i rischi di corto circuito e le sgradevoli conseguenze.
