English translation:plunge EDM
Explanation:
Hello,
Denise is certainly on the ball with the EDM definition. I'm less sure about the "die-sinking" part though, unless "vasca" has some concealed significance in this context. Die-sinking is a specific machining process to make a specific type of part, whereas "a tuffo" is usually translated simply as "plunge" in the machining sector. It all gets a bit over my head I'm afraid, but if you check Eurodicautom, you'll find "plunge spark erosion" (just to complicate matters further). Lists of names like this are terrible things to translate aren't they? I hope you're getting paid at least double your standard rates! There are plenty of hits for both "plunge EDM" and "die-sinking EDM" on the web; here's Eurodicautom in case you haven't got it.
Regards
Derek

Die-sinking EDM

Explanation:
"elettroerosione a tuffo vasca" è la stessa cosa di "elettroerosione a tuffo". In inglese si usa l'abbrevviazione EDM = electrical-discharge machining
